Orange Sky

We saw an orange flickering sky in the distance. There was a lot of curiosity about what it could be.

Kaley and I took off on an adventure to find the source.

After a very roundabout way, we arrived at Equistar Chemical Plant at Chocolate Bayou off of 5917 (I think).

This has been going on for hours. I measured 23 miles to get back home.

The flame, I believe, isn't out of control. Kaley and I noticed men across the street in a makeshift white tent. It reminded me of tests at Los Alamos.

I'd say the flame was 40 to 50 feet... but really it was hard to tell. The flame was like a mountain. We kept thinking we were there...

Kaley says she thinks the flame was 15,000 degrees or something.
