At Starbucks, Our Local Lady, there were cupcakes brought in by a regular patron. She said, "Grab one". I already had my blueberry empenada (sp?), but I asked what the cupcakes were for: "Evonne's going away." And then "Actually, they are taking Sandy too. And then she pointed at a guy (I don't know his name) and said, "Him too." Then she said, "They say this Starbucks is too slow, so they are sending these guy away, and this is going to be a training spot."
I went up and asked, "What the???" One girl said, "Yeah. No choice. We are like family here. It's sad."
Like I say, I'm firmly addicted. It will take much more to keep me from supporting Our Mother.

No. We need to stop drinking the cup, and make our own.
I make my own...maybe we could get a new coffepot. :) Obviously, though it is about more than the coffee. It is the Cheers atmosphere.
