I read here: http://www.visitbigbend.com/news.htmlWe are experiencing a spectacular wildflower display in the Big Bend as of this date. Trans Pecos Bluebonnets , which can grow up to 4 feet tall, are blooming around Terlingua, Study Butte and highway 170 west of Lajitas. Yuccas are blooming at locations all over the area but especially on Ross Maxwell Scenic Drive. The Ocotillo are at full bloom.
Looks like it is time for a retreat.
