The ice skating club had a local in-house competition. Afterwards awards were given. Kaley won an award for "The Best Smile" at a competition. I'm sure it was at the last event where she belly flopped and jumped up smiling bigger than ever. Kaley sure has improved this year. It is fun to watch.I was really impressed with the character award they gave. You could tell that the girls (and one guy, smart one) are close. It's a cool deal.
Emily Chan (pictured) was nominated skater of the year. Her mom is the one who made Kaley's outfit.

In this picture, she is holding her 1st place trophy. However, there were only two girls in her level competing. :-)
