This may be a new edition to the EDGE lab.Once I heard, something like, "When you were a kid, you went to school, you got an engineering degree, you wanted to solve problems. And now, along the way, you have to grow up and realize the bottom line."
Doing this company thing (and even the painting) has pretty much been a reaction to that. I thought maybe I was doing some proletariat save-the-world stuff, but I really think the bottomline for me has been that nobody is going to reduce the cosmos, as far as I can help it, to a dollar growth figure.
That is complete insanity.
Somehow in all the competition, proposals, bug fixing, code sharing, budget crunching, spreadsheets, lab walls, congressional changes, personality clashes.... somehow... at the end of the day... we have to look up and wonder.
If Spoonbill had a proposal, it'd be this painting.

Well said, Keith.
The painting is hanging up in the lab.
