Drew at Starbucks. Couple of people talked to me. One guy, who is 70, ex-military, always reading, travelled, from the Bronx, worked for various companies, now teaches at-risk kids, spoke to me at length. Another guy wanted me to draw his logo in charcoal. Offered money, and seemed excited. The drawing must have been particularly good.
Also, drew at the museum. Thought it turned out pretty good for my first shot at one of those Greek looking marble sculptures. It was Venus. I drew in a corner on the second floor, but still had people and attendants talking to me. While drawing, a dad asked his son what he thought the sculpture was. The boy guessed Aphroditus(sp?). The dad corrected him with one of those fatherly voices. He told him it was Eve holding an apple. The debate in my head whether or not to correct the dad was funny. I decided to shut up. A bit later, I saw the dad notice the plack on the wall, "Johnny! You know everything I just said? Well it was wrong. That's Venus. But I still like my story better."
Wrestled and played horsie with Kovi. Watched Abbot and Costello with Kaley.
PS: Think I was a bit disturbed by yesterday's art exhibit and deleted my former post. It was confusing anyhow.
