Getting Firefox To Work

I am back in Firefox. :-)

Internet Explorer just did not work that well. Even with the built-in Dragon NaturallySpeaking highlight capability, it was still clunky.

I kept having to repeat myself. And I couldn't seem to get to where I wanted to in the page efficiently.

So here is what I did:

I put Firefox in "caret mode"

I got this add-on called "Mouseless Browsing". I configured the mouseless browsing so that it does not need an key. This add-on puts little numbers beside all links, text boxes, etc.

I made my first "Advanced" script for Dragon NaturallySpeaking as well. To hop around from link to link, I say, "like <0-9>" or "like <0-9> <0-9>". It is fast.

I also am using the dictation box. It works really well with the "Transfer”. While it would be nice for the text boxes to behave like the dictation box, you just can't have everything.

Thanks, Molly. :-)
