Nickel and Dimed

Reading a book about a lady who tried to live off minimum-wage. I haven't read too much, but what gets me more than anything isn't the poverty; but the anonymity. Mark told story after story of the revolving door at "Four Seasons Storage". From what I gather, these sorts of corporations simply count on this liquid force. Somehow, it must pay or they wouldn't do it. But how crappy to skim off the passerby, and not offer a home.
