Dolly Was Windblown

Drove down to Surfside this morning. Unfortunately, it was a bit windblown. I hate when that happens. It was okay though, I kind of expect that it will be that way. I caught a couple pretty fun waves. Landed one floater (but not like I used to). I remember when I used to go down there all the time. It was so hit or miss. For the diehards, every once in a while, it would be just perfect. Sometimes a sneaker would come in during the spring or fall, and nobody would know about it. I remember surfing some days like that and feeling sorry for the rest of the world that was missing it. It was just too good. I saw many of the same guys down there that I used to surf with. That said, I don't plan on being a diehard again, at least anytime soon.
