The Dynamo had immediate success, becoming the second team in league history to capture back-to-back championships by winning the MLS Cup in 2006 and 2007. The team also averaged almost 19,000 fans per home game during the 2006 regular season and hosted three consecutive crowds of greater than 30,000 in 2007, including two playoff games. It was a blast watching them with Kaley. She told me about 100 times, "This is soo much fun!" We won 4-3, which made it even more exciting.
I used my birthday $$$ to go. So thanks :-)
PS: Today, I also made a frame from cherry wood. I used my "y-joint" which I found out is a "half-blind rabbet". I worked on the process of making the frame. Made diagrams and tried to make a step-by-step procedure. Got frustrated. So put up all my tools. But then hit it again. Ended up fitting really well. I think the painting looks really good in it.
Would like to do a full-blind rabbet eventually... but it wouldn't be blind... so no point really... but that's kind of the point.
The painting I framed, I painted about a year ago or so. It's stood that little test of time with me. So far, there are only two that have been half-bind rabetted... they look solid... but who knows...

I am sooo glad that you guys went! What a great experience and memory to share.
The picture looks very cool framed. I love having the best art in the neighborhood! (not the best car....or clothes...or housekeepig skills....but the BEST ART!)
I spelled housekeeping wrong - I guess my typing skills aren't the best, either!
