Thinking about trying to make something like this.I think it'd be cool to make something from thrown away bottles. I probably won't get the energy. Just thinking.
The questions I have are:
- What binding agent (concrete, resin) would I use?
- It has to be safe and durable
- Could I buy the ingredients locally? - How to use the glass?
- Is it doable if I build a form?

btw, happy belated bd. sorry i didn't get to come this weekend for the celebration. i think you could find more information about the look you're seeking here by googling 'mosaics.' This looks much like what i've seen time and again at trendy retro shops (and in the 60's), except rather than broken glass, rock designs were more common. i like your intended look much, much better. love you,
