Today, drew in front of this painting at the museum of fine arts houston.
I had several things happen:
1. A guy took a picture of me. I had to smile.
2. While an attendant spoke with me, I packed up my stuff to leave momentarily to get a bite to eat. A woman approached us and said, "Well I don't understand. I've been to "The Louvre" and people are allowed to draw there. I cannot understand why it is not possible here." I said, "I'm drawing it's okay." She went on, "No it isn't. Why can't people draw here. I've seen easels at the Met." I said, knowing the attendant didn't understand what was going on, "I'm just grabbing a bite to eat and was asking if I could leave my stuff here." Poor lady, "OH! I'm so sorry! I thought you were asking him to leave."
3. Well... that's good enough.
That's one intense drawing for one sitting. Dang.
PS: Chris Cornell can bite my shorts.
