Played basketball at the end of the circle again today. One kid asked me, "You know they discovered a new planet?" I said, "No". He said, "Nibiru." Then he went on to explain that it will cause tidal waves, tsunamis and stuff.
Kaley looked at me as if to say, "Daddy? Should I worry?"
I can't write it off at least out loud. I don't know if *they* discovered a new planet or not. I can't say, "I'm sure that is bologna."
I don't know if there was a new planet discovered _and_ that next year more tsunamis are expected. That might be true.
My feelers spring up and say "conspiracy" when I here "Nibiru", red planet, tsunamis, Atlantis and another Noah's Ark.
So I tend to say "Maybe so", and "I'll have to look into that."
More than likely, almost for sure, definitely, if I play basketball tomorrow I won't dispel the myth. He doesn't want to know.
BUT - I will set Kaley straight. She wants to know. Actually, she knew I wasn't worried when she looked at me and said, "Daddy?" Actually, I don't believe she even said, "Daddy?" We just made eye contact and she knew. Or was it the joke about finding two mosquitoes?
One day, hopefully I'll make eye contact with her and know it's all okay, she knows and its covered, the world isn't coming to an end.
And that is the story from the end of the circle (as if) LOL
PS: I read this which made me laugh ""if NASA denies it then it must be true." You can prove anything that way!
