If I read this correctly, there are nine remaining shuttle flights and that's it... no more space shuttles. 2010 will be it.
The plan has been to retire the shuttle and shift to the moon and beyond. In between shuttle retirement and the big rocket seems very limbo limbo to me.
I don't know what is going to happen. After GM's trouble, the bottom falling out isn't out of the question :-(
