Our neighbor is a cabinet maker. He was between jobs, so it was a win-win to have him do this work. I love not going to Home Depot. It's good to hear that saw buzzin' in the morning. We purchased the wood from another neighbor who is a wood salesman.
We had the house leveled a while back. Wanted to do that before this work. We've gone without a kitchen sink for quite some time. Still think it was necessary to ensure we'd do this... as this is how I deal with my own mental stupidity.
Feels good to renovate and construct.
PS: Helped Mark pull the motor from Rusty this morning. He got new heads since the heads he had on the '67 motor were made for leaded fuel. He also had a cracked valve. I'm hoping I get to watch as he goes through the motor. Next up - gonna take the transmission off and then the bell housing.
