V8

In Austin. Eric, brother-in-law from The Netherlands, is here at Kim's mom's. He was on tour with a band. For personal reasons, similar to the last guitarist, Eric bailed out in Dallas and headed here. All I can guess is that the sweet loving lead singer's normal temperament was soured due to a tennis ball size infection in his groin which hospitalized him in Chicago.

Anyhow, Eric and I had a good visit yesterday. I got to repay back some of his Dutch cooking by grilling up some hamburgers. Kids had fun in the pool. The later it got, as in Larry's garage, the conversation turned to what I think must be some primordial core of man - cars. Eric got a tattoo in Detroit, "Motor City". It is a V8. It covers the underside of his forearm. He was dousing it with antibiotic ointment throughout the night along with slugging the vegetable drink V8 - yes. I think he got in trouble with the sweet loving lead singer in Detroit because the V8 tattoo caused him to be a bit late, but isn't that Rock-n-Roll?
