A typical day:
Woke up at 3:30 a.m. with a bad headache. I hadn't drank coffee for a couple days. I figured that was the problem but didn't want to drink coffee in the middle of the night. I took two Tylenol. That did not work. Decided to brew a pot of coffee. Drank a cup of coffee. Headache subsided. Got four more hours sleep. That's golden.
Started the workday by working with Dragon NaturallySpeaking - entering in commands with the hope of programming someday. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be able to do anything with the arms in conjunction with programming. I don't really understand it. And unfortunately, I don't think I will be able to program too well with voice. Fortunately, Mark is working with me.
When Mark comes, the real work starts. On Friday, we got a 64-bit Macintosh Cocoa version of Togl working on Macintosh's latest operating system called Snow Leopard. We should submit that to the Togl maintainer. Today, we wanted to see if the 32-bit version would work. It did not.
Since it was Columbus Day and our link into NASA was down, decided to look into open source plotting utilities. We were tasked with evaluating open source solutions. It was kind of depressing looking into all these tools that had died. On the other hand, there is some energy.
After work and after the rain, I walked about 6 miles through puddles, dripping trees, wet grass and the spray from cars whizzing by. I sent silly text messages to Kim the whole time.
Kaley wanted a painting that would match a pillow in her room. I started working on that. She is singing songs from the Wizard of Oz. I also played with Kovi. We crashed a train for about an hour. We also kept a balloon up in the air. Sixty nine hits was our record.
I weighed myself. I am down 16 pounds. I am pretty happy about that.
In the end, I am mostly thinking about work. I want to work with CERN for this plot stuff. I am not sure why. I probably won't. I just want to do the right thing. That might be an avenue, but doing the right thing is somewhere under bad business practices... that's just me being tired.
I have skimmed NASA headlines. I wish things were better.

How much total weight do you want to lose? Mom V
XXV Pounds
It takes at least 3 Tylenol to give relief.
