Indoor Soccer

The last game of our season was today.  Kaley missed a goal by 1 foot.  I fell to the ground wailing pulling grass up and throwing it in the air.

After the game,  actually before the game, the soccer genius' dad invited us to come watch indoor soccer.  It seems as though the best players for outdoor soccer play indoor soccer.  We went to see the action.  I have to say it looks like a lot of fun, but it is more serious in some respects.  It is a lot more aggressive and more tightly coached since there are fewer players in a smaller space.

One of the biggest reasons I like the outdoor game is being outdoors.  Inside, I feel cooped up.  I think it's why I spend so much time on the hammock outside.

The soccer genius dad is into it hard-core.  I think he and others see potential in Kaley.  I am leery of getting her involved.  I don't want to see a coach pushing her too hard.  I don't want to see her confused on the field while trying to follow the demands of a coach.

Of course she is dying to play... just like I would have... :-)
