Catch Off Of Handmade Fly

I just caught my largest fish, a 13" bass, off a fly I hand made. I had to jump down a bank where a 6' snake had just dropped itself (with a thud!) In a fierce fight, I had to give line, zzzzzzzz!, a few times fearing it'd snap the line. Once I got it on the bank I was amazed at its gills. After I released it, I sat there breathing hard. All in all it was traumatic! LOL! 

 Maybe I should paint instead.  If so, it'd be the first time I traded in a new obsession for an older one.  I love fishing though.
