Green Sunfish

In an earlier post, I said:

"The fish had vibrant blue fins. It's body was yellow and mottled with that vibrant blue. I wish I would have brought my camera."

Since then, I have caught a few more.  After digging a bit, I found out that they are "Green Sunfish".

I may be catching hybrids too.

Yesterday, I found a tiny fishing hole with bass.  It would be a great place for a kid (or me) to fish.  There isn't much waiting involved when you use a grasshopper fly ;-)  I got an 8"-10" bass yesterday.  A father and son stumbled on me while I was reeling in a bass.  The bass was doing acrobatics - adding to the drama.  I have a feeling word is going to get around.
