Dreaming With The Stars

I dreamed last night that I was on the set with a couple famous stars - Robert Redford and Sally Field.  They were both admiring these countertops and tables.  The design was similar to my own, but the "artist", as they called him, had used different sorts of stone and higher grade woods (subtle blending, use of color) for the underlayment.  I wanted to show them what I had done.  When Sally Field saw my work she said it was "cute", "surface", "great for a kid's room".  She went on and on about the differences between the depth of the "artist's" work and mine.  I kind of agreed, but was just wanting to show that I had done something very similar in form.  I felt really bad until I woke up.  When I woke up,  I realized that my mind had gone further and was mixing the "square paintings" with the countertops and using different materials.  I wish I could extract what I saw in my dream.

By the way, I volunteered myself as an actor for the movie. Sally said that they were aiming for an Academy award and wouldn't need me.

That Sally!
