Cellphones
I only have one friend, other than my dad, these days that I can finish a story with - well maybe two, but one lives in Miami - the other is Mark Martin. Last time, at Ross Lake, Kris and I had a full week in an area where there is no cell phone coverage. It was great. Today, I think, I really don't want to hang around anybody that has a cellphone. I'm so sick of hearing the little ring tones... the chime for every update. I thought about signs like, "Please, No Cellphones" and "No Cellphones Allowed". Knowing that wouldn't work, I started thinking about installing sheets of lead in the attic to block signals. I don't even want to watch the Indy 400 this weekend because it won't be that, it'll be thumbs on the stupid cellphone. It used to bug me. Today, it is starting to irritate me. I think I'd rather die than own a cellphone. I'm so sick of attention spans as long as an ADD fly. I hate those sick incessant updates, apps and retarded good for nothing distracting pieces of "whah?s". Honestly, turn the thing off.
