I guess they saw the Rolling Stones shirt that Kim got me. This is one of many posts. I haven't taken the shirt off in 2 or 3 days.
Kim opted out of the fireworks show.
Kovi, Ashley, Kaley and I were sitting on the blanket waiting for the fireworks show. The band had said, "Five more minutes." Then they said, "Okay, one more song." I said, "Noooooooooo, please... fireworks!"
Then there it was... They started playing the Rolling Stones. I jumped up and broke into a sprint across the field... saying, "Yes!!!" My little voice said, "This is going to rip your heel." I told my little voice that I wanted to run. Kaley came sprinting after me... Then, boom, there was Kim. She said, "Hey! I couldn't miss this. I was being a lame-o." I said, "They are playing THE ROLLING STONES!"
It was a day like that... freedom means a lot to me. This is a true day to celebrate. Freedom. Liberty. I love that Kaley and Kovi think this day is so special. I'm in a sappy mood, probably should shut up.
PS:
For family, Ashley is my dad's sister's son's daughter... that is Ronnie Vetter's sister Diane's son Dred's daughter.
PPS:
I started working on the brisket at 5:30am. I am beginning to crash.
