At The Gate

The first run, on his Huffy, he overcame the terror of "the gate".  A boy showed him the ropes.  At the end, he said, "Well my pedals kept slipping."  A guy said, "He needs a BMX bike.  The gear ratio on that bike isn't going to work.  The pedal arm is too short also.  Try this one."  He let Kovi take a spin on a BMX bike.  It was the first time for Kovi to use a hand brake.

After some hesitation, in the end, Kovi was on his own riding the track... and loving it.
