Black Water

After a bout with claustrophobia
I took Kaley to the beach
First we stopped at the local Academy
Looked for two new canopy tents
They didn't have the cheap ones for $50

Went to Galveston
The Academy there had the canopy tents
Ran across a thing that mists too
Twenty feet and lots of misters
Supposed to drop the temperature thirty degrees
We don't think it will work, but got it anyway

Kaley and I walked on the beach
Great sunset
The beach is wide again
Really nice at low tide
We walked for an hour
Open and peaceful

On the way home Kaley and I talked
She told me her fear of "dark water"
She knew the story, but I told it again
The story of the close out set in Hawaii

Then I told her about Lilly and Francis

Kaley said, "We're already here."
The time had gone by fast

Painted the tail fin flame red
Chocolate chip cookies
Crackers and cheese
