MRI Results

Got MRI results back.  The doctor thinks that the arm pain is most likely due to some wear and tear between my C5 and C6 neck vertebrae.  He was doubtful that an EMG would turn anything up.  The blood test revealed a slightly elevated muscle enzyme.  Really, nothing significant showed.  I think one of the big factors that point to me not having any "real problem" is that I don't have any weakness.

I am happy to know the blood tests/MRI pointed towards nothing too bad.  At the same time, I am dissatisfied because the relative normalcy of the results don't match the non-normalcy of the pain I experience when typing and mousing.

Since this is the last week of the fiscal year, the last week before two weeks in The Cascades fishing & hiking, I am not going to worry about the "next step".

In other news:
  1. Texans won again!
  2. Took Kovi to BMX and watched some really good races
  3. Think I bbq-ed the best ribs I've ever made
  4. Latest work project deals with Itokawa - very interesting and challenging problem
  5. Kaley has excelled in school - leadership, study, great grades, self motivated, caring, fun, working hard -  I am so very proud of her.
