What is the difference between a sunset and a faraway galaxy?
Names. Galaxial arms and stars have names. Stay eternal. Words.
No. They are clouds and cyclones.
For us they are practically eternal.
A sunset happens day after day.
And when we sit back to enjoy
How do we approach the two?
One is mysterious and far away
Alone, in space, black, empty and eternal
The other makes elephants, billowing beds and dreams
So, you say
I won't name it
And you've caged whatever it is because you thought it
You named by not naming or naming it
You can't do that without boxing in that
Thoughts stick this or that
In your head
But even if you didn't want to box it
And you cry that you didn't mean to
And that is impossible to do no other
Still, somehow, you are responsible
Always responsible for things you did and did not do
No recourse
Just watch
Just watch
And maybe
Stay in one spot
Watch a sunset
Every day
That is a beautiful poem.
