I Hate Your Devices And Apps

I told my family that I want a shirt that says "I Hate Your Devices And Apps".  I do hate your devices and apps.  I don't like the constant glow of the screen.  I don't like the way people stand or hold their thing.  I especially hate to see a crowd of young people all holding their... I can't even write the word of the "device" to explain this.  I hate that our children want these things - have these things.  I hate family affairs where the things are there.  I hate watching football when those things are around.  I saw somebody sending txt msgs at a funeral this past Saturday.  That is extreme, but I hate it.  I'm so sick of the incessant chatter of those things.  It's gotten to where I would rather not be around people who have one active - able to buzz, chirp or in anyway send a story, thought, smile, frown, shrug, gesture - even a pause - a fillable silence into a shattered dead end.  These are ruthless vile cruel machines that have invaded our lives.  The tentacles reach from a mere few square inches.  They interrupt, short circuit and destroy moments, sunsets, silences, gesture, contact, wonder, story, the sublime and the magic of life.
