Lack Of Blogging

I don't know why I haven't been blogging as much.  I have been writing in a journal.  Here's some stuff:
  • Got the display for Kaley's science fair finished.  The science fair is today.  This one is titled "Cooler Solar Panels".  It's a continuation of last year's work.  Kaley is so into theater that the science fair seems a bit silly; however, yesterday on the way to the school she actually, most likely for my sake, seemed into it.
  • Kim loves World Vision.  Through the letters and pictures she feels/has a strong connection with the kids we sponsor.
  • We are finally finished with all the coughing, sore throats and snotty noses.
  • Texans play the Patriots tonight.  It's not on rabbit ears, so going to Larry's.  Think he's grilling too.  Looking forward to the game.  I had it in my head for two weeks that we were playing Green Bay tonight.
  • Kim and I had a discussion the other night.  I told her how I hope to do something special and think that painting is where I'll find that.  I think that what I'd like to paint is people.  To do it right, in my opinion, I need to learn bone structure, the muscles etc.  I'm working through an anatomy book now.  Think it's a good decision.  Main thing, I need to keep drawing.
  • Just remembered a dream from last night - I was in a field and knew I could paint it.  I couldn't wait to do it.  I want that flow where I know - oh, I can do that, it'll work... and dance through it.
  • Kovi is the dude and loves building/busting things, acorn wars, wrestling, riding and all things boy
  • Spoonbill's new contract is going well.  Since the work I do has more overlap with Metecs (my new sup-contractor), I am working more closely with them.  It's been good and I'm happy with the change.
