Goodbye Football

The Christmas/Football season is officially over for me.  I am actually looking forward to longer-warmer days and longer hours working.  The season is over.  Football is over.  Hopefully the roller coaster of fun and anxiety can now turn to fishing in the bay.  BBQ-ing is done.  Time to tear down the rusting chiminea.  Time to take down the Christmas lights.  Time to clean.  I'd like to look into making a rock garden in the front yard.  I want to see how the compost pile is doing.  The party is over.  I don't know if I can handle another season.  Right now I wish we could have a couple years off or maybe at least skip playing the Patriots... I can't even think about next year.  It sounds so tiring.  The party is over.
