When I up and quit my job cold turkey I took Kaley west. After marvelling in Sonora Caverns, I found that rope swing in the middle of nowhere for the queen of swing - a swing on a rope that dropped into a chilly river - the Devil's river :-) We dried clothes over a camp fire and laughed to a Cookoo bird in the morning. Even made a sun dial to tell time.
My goodness - if anybody could only know how much I love my daughter... it'd fill the canyons at Lake Amistad. The red panther on the cave wall would come to life, run, swing its claws at the night sky and create a new constellation.
Smiles. Soccer. Science fair. Dominoes. Monk. Math :-)
Oh... and that drama stuff :P And gibberish speed talk that I can't understand... and the i-phone and geez... but hey...
Now wait... maybe it's time for a road trip... Oh my... we never made it to Big Bend... The desert. Hmmm. Talley Campsite?

No girl has ever been more loved or more deserved of being loved than Kaley Ann Vetter. She is spectacular. It is all about God making her marvelous and plopping her right down on earth with the best parents He could find for her. Your dad and I love her so much it hurts. We love all of our grandchildren and they are all special in their own way, but that girl has captured our hearts in ways we would have never dreamed possible. When I see her, I can't help but be so proud of my son. You have a lot to do with who Kaley is. I will gush about Mr. Kovi another time, but this is Kaley's special day and we are all blessed to have her in our lives. Mom V
Thanks, I'll pass on the kudos :-)
NOOOO! It can't be true! It was just a FEW years ago when she was born! She is a beautiful, intelligent young lady. The perfect combination of her beautiful, talented parents. Happy Birthday Kaley!
Awe, now that is a sweet compliment. Thanks.
