Ignition

I am working on making homemade ignitors for model rocket engines.  It it interesting.  About to order 40 gauge nichrome wire.

I have ping pong balls now.  Need pure acetone.  Should be able to concoct the nitrocellulose goo.

Also need a mortar and pestle.  Just the thought of using a mortar and pestle makes me happy.

I hope they still sell potassium nitrate somewhere.

Feel like I'm in the 60's.

PS: finding another use for my hook vice...
