Kaley showed me picture after picture of mostly Indian kids being silly with the Fresnel Lens at the George R. Brown Convention Center. She's really excited. I feel like a success. Pretty fun. We find out tomorrow if she heads on to the next level. I felt guilty fishing the day before yesterday thinking I didn't help enough. I guess I don't have to "step it up a notch"... seems like that notch was good enough.
PS: Kaley and I had a good 15 minute conversation over the "parabolic dish" as the judges seem more interested in that than the Fresnel... It's time for me to splain to Kaley a few things 'bout parabolas. Pretty funny that that has been the center of attention.
