Redbud Lightning Strike

Lightning was flashing all around.  Kaley was on I-45.  Miss Tracie said that it looked like our house was the center of attraction.  Richard, a man who loves his iphone, whooped out an app that takes pics like a machine gun.  The cam gun was on full speed on the outskirts of the mancave.

And then it hit HARD... CLAP...  BOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!! Ripples of tin flailing... bone crunching vortex tubes vibrating in scratching currents... followed by more peels of thunder

I said, "Sounds like it hit your house!"  I turned around and Richard's eyes were like saucers and he had his hand on his heart.  He said, "I better go."

Turns out we had our Redbud light knocked out, Mark Martin's new tv and garage door opener knocked out... as well as Richard's garage door opener.

Richard somehow fixed his garage door opener today.  If Mark reads this, maybe Richard can tell him what he did to get it back running.

The lack of the street light helps stargazing... so I like it.
