We are experiencing what the weather service calls "Wintry Weather". It was also referred to as a "threat". I saw a teenage boy come out in a t-shirt and no shoes. He stood there for a second and then -ran- back inside. I think he wanted to -feel- the cold, you know. Experience the elements. Hats off to barefoot boy.

Kaley is outside playing right now...
The lawn-mowing guy came by himself to do everyone's lawn today. I bet he is cold! I made him a little bag with hot cocoa, soup, crackers, hot tea...a warm thank-you for working in cold weather.
The grass hasn't grown a millimeter since he was here last time... it is dormant. But whatever. I don't mind keeping him in business. I understand that end a little more now :)
Right!
I just spent a weekend with teenagers at a camp near Livingston. They all wore shorts and flip-flops - pouring rain, warm, cold - it didn't matter. A few where even barefoot on Monday when it never got above 40F. Not normal!
When I taught highschool there were the boys who were shorts and a t-shirt when it was below freezing... to impress the babes.
