After dealing with taxes, cleaning etc... I dashed out the door about 5:30pm. Got some more work done on this. I was relaxed while doing it this time. I was even thinking of other things other than painting. Not sure if that is good.
The drawing is paying off tremendously. Especially with branches.
Unfortunately the sun wasn't out, so I couldn't work too much on the sun's effects.
If you stand back from the monitor, it comes together better. Also this picture was a bit yellowed and I tried to un-yellow it some with "the gimp".

This one is better in person. This may be the sleeper that takes the cake.
Even though I'm not finished, I've hung it in our bedroom.
I've *got* to start framing. Once finances settle, I'm looking into a router.
This is really a fabulous painting! Incredible. I love the path, the trees, the light - it is so realistic and beautiful!
I've got quite a ways to go. Looking forward to having *somebody* in the scene. It'll be a first.
