I made this image for JSC's Engineering Orbital Dynamics package.
I actually sketched it in charcoal (which I happened to have at work)
For the record, I didn't spend an inordinate amount of time on it.
The vertical orbit makes a "J". And there are the letters "E", "O" and "D" there (kinda pushing it).

Great icon! Yeah, the letters don't really stand out to me. But it lloks cool, anyway.
