I've turned from graphite to charcoal to dip-pen-ink to these guys and a "sketch" pad, rather than "drawing" pad.
These pens have Indian Ink, and work really well (IMHO).
I also decided that I needed to quickly sketch more than laboriously draw.
I also need to toss detail... and just sketch... and make stuff look "bad"... and not worry about it... and keep practicing.
One thing I learned from the Picasso video was how his sketches were really really sketchy.
My drawing, I think, will improve much faster if I throw a little caution to the wind. Also, pure black and white forces me to have deep contrast... and helps me to not fear black.
Drawing feels magical whenever you get something right. I just think about doing this full time. Wow, all day long to practice... I'd probably drive myself nuts.

One of these days...not to long from now.... maybe you can go full-time with your art.
I don't think I want to, actually.
Just some days the grass is greener on the other side.
It's going to take 9 more years. We'll see if I can keep it up that long.
Well, I'd like for you to have the option to pursue art full-time when you are ready.
ur a genius...you can do what you want to do, picasso
Maybe I've been pursuing art full-time already :-)
I think you are very talented and enjoy all your work!
