This is the 53rd of 53 horses I drew.After reading the Lord Of The Rings to Kaley I was drawing horses rearing up on their hind legs.
I quit drawing the whole body, and did a few quick heads... then something clicked and I did this in about 7 quick strokes. Kinda fun.

You know, that looks extremely simple, and it is, but getting to that point was something else...
What is funny is that I thought about this off and on all day. I think I need to square off the nose... and maybe subtely add an ear... and maybe if I angled the head downwards a little...
But... yeah... To me this is like playing a tweedle-dee-dee on a an instrument.
No from a breeder of horses no square muzzle, this is great, soft and sort of a hint of a nostril. Ears/ on my Welshies they usually get hidden in the mane any way. really like the feel of this.
