Children's Hospital And Starbucks

I am looking into volunteering as a painter at the Children's Memorial Hermann hospital in Houston. Kaley had an operation there a few years ago to remove a infected urachal cyst.

Here is a portion of a note from the a contact there:
I am more than welcome to set up a time with you and give you a brief tour and
brainstorm some ideas if you would like before we start the orientation
process. I think you will be bringing something wonderful to our children in
the hospital and I can not wait to get started.

I also had another "showing" at Starbucks today at their "Out On The Porch" community get-together dealy-bopper. Just got a report back that it was okay, but was more part of the scenery this time rather than an object of attention. That is fine. The paintings didn't change... so oh well. It'll be fun to talk to the baristas tomorrow.

I am very excited about you volunteering at the children's hospital. You have always had a great connection with kids, and now to bring your painting to it, too. Awesome.

What a wonderful thing to do! The delight you see in the children's eyes will fill your heart with joy.

I'm looking forward to it. I'm a bit nervous. I'll just take it a step at a time. I need to contact this one lady and look into the background check and orientation.
