Behind Davids

I did this behind a privacy fence that Clear Creek runs along. The owner popped his head over and watched a long time before asking me if he could buy it.

This was the first outting with my new French Easel, and I'm already selling the paintings before I can even get them off the easel!

Rock on!

PS: Stand back from the monitor a ways to see it better.

This is gorgeous. I hope you don't completely switch to abstract, because I will miss your nature paintings!

The abstract is comfortable, creative and would probably sell better than outdoor paintings... so I am just about positive I'll be doing outdoor painting :D

Actually, if I could get good at outdoor painting, it be really something. There is something magical about creating and seeing the painting in the scene. I woke up this morning and thought about going there again because I *really* didn't want to sell that painting to that guy...

But now I have an opportunity. :)

Yes! Go there again! I think you already are good at outdoor painting. I also think you'll only get better!

No wonder your nieghbour wanted to buy it, I hope you asked a good price.

I think it was a good price for him, $25.
