Mr. Mom - Day One And A Half

Got a school project done last night.
Bought some groceries: $21.39
Got four Honey Crisp apples along with milk, cereal, peanut butter, baked chips and kiwi.
Read some hobbit, poor Bill is about to be alone in the wild.
Painted too late again. I gotta stop doing that.
Made a little lunch for Kaley.
Got her to the bus stop, and sang Michael Jackson's... "Give on... to the bus stop... don't stop 'til ya get enough"... or whatever the words are.

Learning CSS.. Wish they weren't so terse in the lingo. I can't remember all that crap.
Maybe since XML is so simple, you have to go to the other extreme to skin it.
Maybe skin is more complex than the heart.
Maybe an HTML page oughtta wear the same overalls every day, like my uncle Hugo.
Maybe things are complex because it is necessary... and good... and I'm just too tired to think.
But maybe if they took out the Cascade part it wouldn't be so bad.
Inheritance is so difficult to deal with... and the way CSS does it... amplifies the whole thing.
I think whoever came up with it got the raw end of a will from his uncle Hugo.

Give on! To the bus stop! Don't stop 'til ya get enough! Hoo!

Kaley looked at the painting and said, "I know what that is... Mars!"

You are being a great Mr. Mom! I think it is great for you and Kaley to have this time together. Today I took Kovi to Zilker park, and we rode the train. "Tunnel! Choo Choo!"

I played there when I was a kid.

It used to smell of old telephone pole tar.

I actually went to Zilker Elementary. I remember I was part of a group of kids that planted a tree at the school. Was in the newspaper. Wonder how tall that tree is now :-)

We should go check it out! Kovi and I have been exploring Austin parks. Some pretty cool ones here.
