"Carpe diem", a phrase from a Latin poem by Horace. Popularly translated as "seize the day", although a more literal translation of carpe would be "harvest" ("harvest the day"), as in the harvesting of fruit. Again, popularized by the movie "Dead Poet's Society" in reference to a Walt Whitman poem about Lincoln.

MESMERIZING!
For those that keep up with comments, this is what Steve said in the HEB parkinglot about Girlscout Cookies.
Lovely warm painting. Good to keep with similar colours.

This photo does not adequately capture thge beauty of this painting. It really glows and is gorgeous in person.
I love your nature paintings...I guess I will have to come down the road to see it in person (as told from Kim)
Come on down, Andi. Turn on the kitchen light to see it.
Thanks Wendy.
