Rules

We have some friends who have rules in their family. We've never adopted any code of order. My friend wrote, "I'm starting to see our rules as instruments of the familial art, and our house as a sort of workshop, creating something together."

I wrote back, "I wouldn't mind having a set of rules to bring order to the house in terms of budget, clothes
piles, toys I'm tripping over, schoolwork, church, dog care, garden work, painting (art), house projects, exercise, managing my business etc. Overall, things are decent, but the chaos brings me down. Maybe
I should start a blog called "Bringing Order To Our Household: BOOH".

So... what is this "familial art" all about???

be careful though...too many rules and too much order creates repetition, which creates boredom and can really bring you down.

Yeah.

I just wish everybody in this household would just quit freaking coughing. Sounds like a tuberculosis ward.

Dang.

But! I can make a rule for that!

"No coughing allowed".

An hour and a half later... I still haven't come up with a rule.

More coughing....

Still no rules... but I charcoaled a bunny rabbit hanging from strings like a puppet.

I drew a frog that was on my window last night.

I find work pretty much meaningless.

The night before that, I drew a pear.

I have a bar of goat soap on my desk, and some goat milk in the fridge.

Krylon, Matte Finish.

Good night.
