1Kaley and I watched the guys play soccer again today. This time, I decided to paint.
I was under an oak tree. The light spots on the sky of the painting are sun spots through the leaves.
This was the last game of the season for these guys. I started hearing comments, "Put number 23 on that guy!" "How much?!"
I would have put 23 but was afraid that two numbers would be too wide. I went with #7. I could tell #23 was not happy with me.
At that point, I couldn't keep it. I told the guy that I'd give it to him if he came back later. He did.
Turns out #23 is his brother. I told him I would have given it to him but the number might not have fit. He told me that his brother insisted on Mike Jordan's number and he just got what he got. He said, "Serves him right... ha ha ha".
Also met a guy the previous game that I think will end up coaching Kaley. His name is Coach Barker. He was a player for "The Scrubs". He remembered Kaley from a while back. He had invited her to practice with his team a month or two ago.
I had thought a lot of that guy and had it in the back of my mind that somebody *like* him would be good for Kaley. This was serendipity.
Kim, we need to contact League City Parks and Rec and speak with Albert, I think.

That's a great painting! I'll call Albert Monday. I am so happy that worked out for Kaley. Providence!
