My Dad Taught Me...

1I called my dad and told him I was going and go surfing. I was listening to the radio while I was packing. I forgot to turn the ignition off. The battery is deader than a doornail.

I can't jump the battery. Nobody is around.

But then I remembered my dad cleaning off the terminals once and that working. I also remember him showing me the water levels in the battery. I checked mine, and the levels are real low.

I am going to try filling the levels and cleaning the terminals. For more reasons than this, well lots more, if I enjoy the day at the beach I owe it to my dad. I hope he gets joy knowing that.

And if the battery thing doesn't work, oh well... I'll clean up the garage or something. Everything sounds good today.
