Starting Another Painting

Some glare on it (which might look okay actually).

Been experimenting with the under painting. There's all sorts of stuff underneath including a triple coat (with sanding) of gesso which I bought on Sunday.

Paulo, the specialist in natural disaster, interrupted the canvas building... but I think I came out on top.

I have to say that making the outline of the vase in two brush strokes was very satisfying.

The drawing is transferring... only I have much more control with the paints than with the charcoal.

I'm in new territory.

Wow Keith - that is awesome. I can see the texture underneath and it really gives it depth. Man.

Another beauty, Keith! So much reflected here -- depth, shadow, highlight . . . I picked up another frame for you, by the way; heavy wood, $6 bargain! I'll bring it to you guys before too long.
Love you,
Lynn
