I came down with a cold. I took too much medicine today. I feel like the inside of my skull is sunburned.
Played cars with Kovi in the mud. We both dug with shovels in the cold to "flatten a road".
Helped Kaley in some geometry. She lacks interest in 4 sided shapes. Later, Kaley went to play at Sarah's. Mike is going to Russia. He is going to go see a launch. He's going to Kazakhstan.
Connie had to turn in her thesis for her masters in the Netherlands today. She has worked really hard on it. She was on maximum stress level 3 months ago while trying to get it out. Mark and Kathryn have/are finished/finishing their masters/Ph.D. respectively recently.
Since I am programming better without my arms, Mark and I have been working more independently. I gather that some work he did this past week has a couple people really happy at NASA.
I had a salad today. All the lettuce came from Kim's garden. Kim is real proud of that. She grew the lettuce from seeds.
Larry showed me a new paint spray gun he got as a Christmas present. The spray gun is made in Germany. It is top-of-the-line. It looks like an alien laser gun.
It is probably me being sick, but I keep having this fond sadness with watching Kovi grow up. He is just so excited about things. His voice is so high. He goes up and down so quickly. He sleeps so soundly. As I work in the day I am aware of all the drama, the passion, the songs, the cries, the zooming toy cars, the pancakes, the errands in and out. I feel bad sometimes I don't join him right there in that world, that my mind drifts when I try.
Sneeze. Sneeze.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading that entry.
