Schlitterbahn In Galveston

Just back from Schlitterbahn. When I was a kid the standing wave was new. Waited in line for an hour or something to try it and got shot over the top in 3 seconds. This time, I got it :-) Was able to boogyboard up on my knees and skim back and forth. Ha ha!

The whole family went in one of those circular float things down a slide.  What fun!

Kaley and I had fun in the wave pool trying to fight the current and get back to the wave chamber.

Kovi screamed on the way down that he wanted to go to the beach... crying... and hollering that Schlitterbahn was going to be *boring*.  I told him he'd probably change his mind.  He said, "Never!  I wanna go to the beach!  Shuh-litterbahn is BORING!  I hate it."

Never say never :-)  It was hard not rib him while we were there with comments like, "Gosh isn't this slide *boring*???"  We didn't do that.  It almost got started and I stopped it.

On the way back, after near exhaustion, he said, "Now can we go to the beach?"  - but it was weak :-)

See... a family tradition continues! Don't forget that your Mom started the Schlitterbahn tradition! Mom
