I stumbled on this today when getting paints for another backdrop for "Guys And Dolls".
The man who painted this is going to teach me. I've never seen anybody paint or had any classes on painting.
I'm very excited. I feel like I'm going to cry again.
PS: tonight I'm going to deliver a meal to my brother in law and family. He was hospitalized with a terribly high fever (105 I think) and pneumonia. Driving way north!
PPS: Is that a redfish?
PPPS: His bio says: He now paints subjects from Martha's vineyard, Galveston, TX and Point Lobos, CA, painting where the land meets the sea and the people who work it.

This painter is amazing. I am so excited that you are going to learn from him!
Very awesome!
PS: Is it still OK to use "awesome"? I know were not in the 80's anymore.
Wow! His painting is glorious! What an incredible opportunity for you! Mom V
I think "awesome" never really went out. Yeah, I just saw that painting - with the subtitle 'learn to mix color like the impressionists and classic artists'... and I was like, "That's it!"
Now I've got to choose something to paint. I'm hopeful that this will push me past this point I've been struggling with.
I'm ready to be a student. I really needed time to struggle with it alone. I know so much more about what I want to learn.
I hope it goes okay. I'm not going to get too excited. I haven't been to a class in so long.
I love the list of things to bring. Feels like I'm going to kindergarten with my colors. I just got my shiny "New Holland" paints.
Hope things haven't changed - I'm a dang good student.
I will pack your lunch and give you a kiss goodbye. :-)
